Officially announced by Marvel Comics today, the Predator will be unleashed on the Marvel Universe for the very first time as he viciously hunts Wolverine across decades of Marvel Comic history in Predator vs. Look for “Download and Die!” in February 2018. The brand-new, self-contained Goosebumps story comes from the talented duo of writer Jen Vaughn ( Adventure Time) and artist Michelle Wong ( Tomboy). In true Goosebumps fashion, the danger is real!” Today’s kids will now have to contend with a smartphone app that snaps filtered pictures which depict nightmarish outcomes. “In the tradition of the classic “Say Cheese and Die!” story, this spiritual successor takes that concept and puts a digital spin on it for the iPhone generation. Via press release, IDW Publishing, in association with Scholastic, just announced that they’ll be releasing another three-issue arc, “DOWNLOAD AND DIE!”
But that’s not all that they’ve got in store for the property.
We told you back in July that IDW Publishing is bringing the Goosebumps franchise back to the world of comic books with Goosebumps: Monsters at Midnight, a new series launching on October 25. Classic story Say Cheese and Die is entering the digital age.
